City of Santa Clara issued the following announcement on Nov. 3
In October 2020, Citizens Equity First Credit Union partnered with the Police Department to offer a virtual workshop titled “Senior Cents.” The workshop was led by detectives and financial experts about scams that target seniors and how to avoid becoming a victim.
Last week, Adrienne and Peter from Citizens Equity First Credit Union stopped by the Police Building to reiterate their appreciation of this partnership to benefit their members and the community at-large. During the meeting, we discussed additional ways to educate individuals on how to prevent becoming a victim of a financial crime. Stay tuned for details on the next workshop!
